Auto Show Charity Preview on WDIV
Re: Auto Show Charity Preview on WDIV
Mayim Bialik will not be hosting for the time being, choosing to stand in solidarity with the writers. It’s all Ken Jennings for who knows how long. Even if the strike ended tomorrow, Jeopardy tapes like 6 weeks in advance.
Re: Auto Show Charity Preview on WDIV
That's actually a plus. Jennings is by far the better host and should have the gig full time.

I agree. Jennings has grown into the role very nicely.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.
Re: Auto Show Charity Preview on WDIV
Back on topic, we all cover the auto-prom because we want to curry favor with DADA and the member auto dealers in town who are the major retail advertisers.

I think Channel 4 is run by interns all the time. The way that they goofed up on the METV change is just one example of how bad it is there. There are constant spelling mistakes on their graphics. Half of the reporters have absolutely no clue how to do the job they were hired for. Whoever is running things there should watch “Wheel of News” and buy a clue. What an awful way to run a station.

I think Jennings should now become the full-time host too.

It is far worse than that. The Detroit Auto Dealers Association throws a party and wants to convince the general public to come and help pay for it.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:22 amThese televised specials are nothing more than ass kissing marathons bestowed upon local politicians and auto execs.
Has anyone ever seen the charity preview money being put to charity uses in the wild?

Just what Wood TV does for the GR Auto Show in Feb has a special in which Inside Editon airs at 1:30AM on WOTV. Did the UAW picket the Auto Show?
