In an article in the Detroit Free Press (1/26/90), Ron mentioned that his father looked like Jim Backus and that Ron left home when he was 15.

I wonder if this scene from Rebel Without a Cause, which came out when Ron was 10, influenced the course of Ron's life.

I admit to cracking on the YouTube video's comments thread about Ron's errant frequency talk. Then, I read through the rest of this and found MW getting the "truth out there!" Who knows, maybe WPON was 1160 at the time. Everything points toward Ron drawing 22,000 entries in the forum after this weekend is out, and what a testament that is to the man!

Excitement is also growing for another major milestone—1500 pages of comments.

And before the end of 2023, we might see another incredible event—1,000,000 views.

Business here is improving exponentially. It took us from 12/22/19, the start of the "new" thread ("new" in the sense of the "newly-remodeled" Ram's Horn), until 4/16/23 to get to 1000 pages. But here we are, not even five months later, approaching the 1500-page milestone!

The only thing that will kill this thread is a total website crash-wipeout.

I remember ron selling the sports fan magazine in 1985-1986.

His pairing with bob page was great viewing.

Well, we are a dedicated group and Ron is like a sitting duck.

I am surprised that Ron did not have any encounters with the ghost of Houdini during his stint at Grace Hospital. I guess that ole Harry still had a few escapes left in the repertoire.

Well, you know Ron probably had Harry's ghost's phone number, but naturally left it on the dresser in his hotel room. And of course, that darn maid....................

I can’t be the only one whose thoughts turned to Ron when this story dropped.

When I heard the description of it being explosive, that's exactly who I thought of, Scoop Cameron. You were not alone Momo

Yes, the name Ron Cameron will forevermore be synonymous with explosive diarrhea. 🧨

I recently had a cheese dog at Crave in Canton. It’s pretty good, especially the toppings. It was lunch time, and absolutely dead. I should have told the staff I heard about them from R Sizzle.

I hope their business is OK.

Does anyone know if the Purple Gang enjoyed a good hot dog? Worked for the Fenton Hotel.
