I missed it, as I tuned out at 4pm as I feel what more is there to know about Jake Wood. Apparently, I keep forgetting why I continue to listen when I can and that is how much more bad can this show get. I guess, I'll have to wait until that podcast comes out this week to hear it. If he had any kind of listenership he'd get blowblack but with nobody listening it's kind of like it never happened. Well that's too bad, it's not like Ron is paying his guests to come on. I wonder if Jake will take a page out of Phil Regan's book and go to the guest protection program.

As someone that only listens in on occasion, I thought since the podcast seems to be a thing of the past, I should start to record the shows on an old boombox just in case the Cannonball smashes into the Orange Blossom Special. Unfortunately I got too busy with yard work and forgot to set up to record today, but I was listening to the last hour as Ron derailed the Underground Railroad. If this was real radio he’d be out of a job now.

Probably best that today’s hour with Jake Wood never gets heard again, but the fact Ron’s podcasts haven’t been updated since November 2022 ensures that. That was some scary stuff, brokered radio heard by so very few or not. Coughing, burping/belching, yawning, berating listeners/guests/producers/advertisers, both present and past, intermittent host no-shows, in-studio explosive diarrhea…all that stuff I have come to expect from years of listening to Scoop, but today…damn.

Interesting fact: Bobby Shantz, who was mentioned in the Jake Wood “interview”, is the only living person who played with the Philadelphia A’s. Surprised Kurt or Cowboy didn’t mention that. (I didn’t know that until just now. I was looking something else up and you know how the internet goes)

He was born in 1925. Maybe Ron can get his number; or Keith can bump into him.

I was busy today and also missed today's show. Sounds like I missed something big. Can one of you put some context into what it was that Ron said today that was so offensive without getting graphic about it? Thanks.
