Discussion pertaining to Detroit, Ann Arbor, Port Huron, and SW Ontario
Thanks. I tried listening to Mark Wilson on the WDTK page but I could barely hear him or the callers. Ron came through loud and clear. I had a little better luck on the Audible site, where I could hear both Ron and the callers.Momo wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 4:52 pmIt's now on the station's local podcasts page:ShempLives wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 11:20 pmAfter following this thread for a long time, I've got information that I'm surprised no one has mentioned. RON IS CORRECT. Podcasts of his WDTK shows are available. I found them by entering "Ron Cameron Sports" in Google and on the first page no less, I found a link to www.audible.com with the previous week's show listed. (Granted they're posted Ron-Style with the "first hour" lasting 1 hour and 56 minutes. Downloading the "first" hour and hour number three will give the listener the complete show. August 1, 2021's broadcast has two entries for "hour 1.") Unlike an "official" WDTK podcast, these recordings have a finite life of one week as they're replaced by the newer show. Even though most of Ron’s guests are over 75, his show seems to be the most “current” sports show on WDTK. I was flipping thru the stations last night and caught the Dialed in Detroit guys. I quickly realized it was a repeat, as they were talking about the college football playoff! They were giving up to date scores on a Clemson/Notre Dame game. I looked it up and it was December 19, 2020. If you are going to air a repeat, try to do something generic. Is it hard to splice some “best of” interviews together?
