I believe that's my line.
They hail from "Little Bavaria", Michigan.borderboy653659200 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 12, 2019 11:41 amWhy is it that we've been inundated with Greta Van Fleet (great name for dudes,eh ?) propaganda the last half-year or so ?I know nothing of these young chaps, they may become the next Beatles,Stones,Who,etc.,but really, can someone tell me something about their material ?
It's really a complete pantomime act - Take a look at the drumkit; the brand is Ludwig and the toms are all the same size and configuration as that used by Bonham. Bonzo used rather large pieces, that were tuned higher than what was traditional to achieve that sound. The big tom-toms, with their heads cranked down, and resonant heads tighter yet, will produce a H*** b o O M - with a sweeping decay. This is the "John Bonham" sound.blizzard wrote: ↑Sat Jan 12, 2019 3:13 pmborderboy653659200 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 12, 2019 11:41 amWhy is it that we've been inundated with Greta Van Fleet (great name for dudes,eh ?) propaganda the last half-year or so ?I know nothing of these young chaps, they may become the next Beatles,Stones,Who,etc.,but really, can someone tell me something about their material ?
They get compared to Led Zeppelin, not just for the similar music style,
but also the stage mannerisms, and clothing style.
