Rogers scored an inside the park home run last night.

Somewhere, Ron is smiling at the all-out effort given by his favorite son, Jake Rogers.

An ITPHR by a catcher has to be, historically, one of the rarest plays one might witness at a ball game.

Sadly, it was called a triple and an error. But Jake sure had to run like it was an inside the park home run, nonstop around third with a wild slide at home.

That sucks, but it's tough to argue the official scoring of the play.

Who took the error - the Cleveland catcher (who missed the tag at home plate) or the center fielder?

I was listening to the radio network at the time, and Bobby Scales, who is not as much "a fish out of water" as he seemed before said the center fielder slipped on the way to retrieval and kicked the ball a little. The jolly talk about "I'm scoring that an inside the park Homer" lays heavy on the last word, and after 25 years, Dan Dickerson seems to have developed a HR hook of "How 'Bout It!"

Ron is missed.

The show he would have with his old producer for the upcoming season was always a good one

Anyone tune into WPON recently Any shows that you can recommend. When Sportstalk was on it was part of the weekend routine.

They have a Saturday morning music show from 8-9 with a male DJ. Went from a Weezer to Buffalo Springfield segue like our friends Aaron and Charlie would do.

I don’t know if there is a new sports show as their website is horribly out of date and Sima has no plans to update it.
