Looks like my group is getting involved in an art fair. Pondering how to communicate. One person mentioned that there are cellphone apps that allow you to use your phone as a walkie talkie.

Anyone ever do this with a group? Which app did you use? I see a few in Google Play.

We may not go this route to be honest. I myself would like to see if I can rustle up about a dozen FRS radios.

Google "voicemeeter" (yes, with 2 "e"'s.) While I havent used their PTT app yet, their other audio solutions (virtual mixer, audio networking via VBAN) are surprisingly solid solutions for being donation-ware.
