It means little. Old man Rupert was only involved in decision making on a very limited basis in recent years. I'd expect their media brands to stay the course.

Rupert didn't run Fox for the most part for a few years now. Lachlan's been running the company and making most of the decisions.

I always thought Rupert backed off when Roger Alies was removed.
