How about some new ideas instead of remaking shows?

Yeah. All of their original shows so far are reboots. I heard something about a new project from Michael Schur that's coming to it but that's about it.

There's a big draw in remaking shows.
Folks that liked it the first time tend to want to see it again.
Especially if the original cast can be talked into doing the show.

The final season of The Office stunk. Hopefully, if it comes back, better writers will be hired!

I'm more excited about the potential Seinfeld reboot.

Oh yeah. The only episode of that season that really shined was the Finale and that's it.
