Not sure what the infomercial was on WDIV last Thursday, though this week it's an "All 4 Pets" special and "Live In The D" "Out On The Town" from 8-9 pm tomorrow, (Thursday August 22.)

And to round it out, at 9:30 they will be airing a repeat of half of the NBC Fall Preview show that will be premiering tomorrow night at 10.

Speaking of tomorrow night -- WKYC in Cleveland will be preempting a new American Ninja Warrior as well as the NBC Fall Preview premiere broadcast in order to show the Jets-Browns Monday Night Football game.

WXYZ will be showing the Lions-Packers Monday Night Football game this upcoming Monday. Dancing With The Stars is moved to 1:07 AM early Tuesday morning, while The Good Doctor moves to 1:07 AM early Wednesday morning. Both are new episodes.

In previous years, WMYD would air DWTS on nights when WXYZ was obligated to Lions MNF games, but not this year, apparently.

I'm watching DVR recording of The Good Doctor right now. It was interrupted by an EMS test, (I really shouldn't complain but I don't like when that happens.)

According to TitanTV, this Saturday night October 19, WDIV will Join "JURASSIC WORLD" in progress at 9:00 PM after an infomercial and repeat episode of "Wheel of Fortune" at 8:00 and 8:30 PM.

You'd think they'd remove WoF and the infomercial in favor of the movie. Strange.

Did they mean to schedule the infomercial and Wheel during the 7PM hour?

No I mean they should have removed those two because the movie is being joined in progress and it shouldn't be like that

Looks like they have "NBC Nightly News" from 7:00 to 7:30 and an infomercial from 7:30 to 8:00. Everything is pushed back because they have an hour of local news on Saturday evening, from 6:00 to 7:00.

Another WDIV preemption: Thursday October 24, no "Wheel" or "Jeopardy" from 7-8 PM that night due to an NBC News Learn/WDIV Local 4 education town hall special.

I often ponder why, instead of not showing the shows that get pre-empted, WDIV don't move them to 4-2 or 4-3 at the same time.
Maybe they fear everyone will just change channels and not watch what they have replaced it with.
I'm not sure it was the last time they did this, but I seem to remember thinking to myself "What's the big deal with this, where it's worthy to replace regular programming?".

Exactly -- they did not want to compete with themselves by putting its normal programming on a subchannel while showing something "special" on its main channel.

Their agreement with WADL must have expired.

Friday night, WDIV will be airing a Live In The D special and an infomercial in place of a new episode of The Blacklist, which won't be moved or delayed at all.
