Any word on if he's stepping down before or after Trump loses the election?
Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

Re: McConnell Stepping Down From Leadership in November
McConnell has cited age as one of the reasons he's stepping down. Any thoughts on if he's also saying "Your turn Joe".
Life is not a dress rehearsal. This is it. There's no going back, and we can only go forward before we run out of runway.

I don't know about a law, but it seems that could a DNC or RNC could make a party rule though.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!
Re: McConnell Stepping Down From Leadership in November
This seems more like a societal problem than one that can be fixed with a law. At the root of the problem is, why do majorities in our society continue to nominate and elect people well past their prime?
Re: McConnell Stepping Down From Leadership in November
Because the majorities of the people that vote are well past their prime. Or if not majorities than a sizable number. Ultimately people want something they can identify with.
Re: McConnell Stepping Down From Leadership in November
Because nobody younger has as much name recognition as 'older' people.
Re: McConnell Stepping Down From Leadership in November
The younger ones that are known are mostly known for being radical and not who you want in power positions. The squad comes to mind
