Why was he having a rally on that day to stop the steal? Why was he not cooperating on the presidential transition?

Trump didn't encourage anybody to break into the Capitol. Period. And you're wasting your breath if you want to debate this with me further.

Translation: you know you are wrong, but you will never admit it. It's ok to change your mind when new facts are presented. It's a sign of personal growth.

New facts? His rally speech that day is a matter of public record. He said what he said.

Are you ok with him carrying on after he lost, AND after according to some, carrying on after privately acknowledging he lost? Do you think the attack on the US Capital would have happened that day if he told them to stay away? What if he didn't speak? How would you feel if the roles were reversed?

He, like every other American, has a right to speak. He, like every other American, has a right to peacefully protest. That makes your rhetorical questions nothing more than red herrings.

As to specifically him allegedly "privately acknowledging he lost," I have yet to see a credible example of that. Every example I've seen takes Trump's alleged comments out of context.

If he doesn't know he lost, that's another reason to NOT put him back in power.

People have testified under oath that he knew he lost. The idea that those people broke into the Capitol independent of anything to do with him is insane… absent him NOBODY would be breaking in there… the same way nobody had done so previously. You’re delusional. Same goes for the idea he’s gonna win… he lost 40% of the vote in a state way redder than New Hampshire. He’s in trouble.

Came here to pont that out. Instead of celebrating the win his people should be wondering why basically 40 percent of those who voted did so against him. There has been a large percentage in every contest so far that has done so. This is bad news for November. While some of those 40 percent will hold their nose and vote for him, I think a larger number will go another way and that includes not voting. Time will tell.

Proof positive it was (and is) stupid of Haley to remain in the GOP primary race.
Nah, I disagree. Even though the delegates are "winner-take-all," the fact that Haley took nearly 40% of the vote is proof that Trump isn't nearly as popular among Republican voters as he wants everyone to believe.

And you know he's absolutely seething about that.

Well there's the whole thing about South Carolina being Haley's home state.

Nationally, Trump leads Haley 80-16 per the 4 most recent polls.

Yeah, that's not exactly what they testified to. Go read the transcripts.

Wrong answer….
Mr Barr, who was appointed by the former president, said that Mr Trump "knew well he lost the election".
Donald Trump privately admitted to losing the 2020 election even as he worked to undermine and change the results, according to two top aides who testified before the January 6 committee.

During the ninth and possibly final hearing, the committee investigating the January 6 insurrection shared new testimony from Alyssa Farah, a former White House aide, who said that a week after the election was called in favor of Biden, Trump was watching Biden on the television in the Oval Office, and said: “‘Can you believe I lost to this effing guy?’”

In another new clip of testimony from Cassidy Hutchinson, a top aide to former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows, she shared that Trump told Meadows: “I don’t want people to know we lost, Mark. This is embarrassing. Figure it out.”
His own people testified under oath that he knew he lost and quoted the man.

I'm well aware he's been quoted. What I'm saying to you is that his quotes have been taken out of context.

How the hell do you take “ I lost to that friggin guy?!?” Out of context? That strains credulity…

Yes, that's one of the quotes I was thinking of. Simple. Sarcasm. Like "I lost to THAT guy? Are you kidding me? That's impossible."
