Gretchen Whitmer: Backpedaling COWARD

The following was Whitmer's "some people did some things moment":
I have been in touch with communities impacted by what’s happening in the region. It is abhorrent. My heart is with all those impacted. We need peace in this region.
Make no mistake about this - she wants a national office. This response is her Bobby Jindal moment.

Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

You know her communications team spent at least 2 hours crafting that response, making sure to be as vague as possible to avoid offending those that support terrorism.

I think this snippet from the Detroit News article says it best:

"Why even issue a statement ... ?" said Tim Murtaugh, who was director of communications for Trump".

And he's right.
Entertainers and politicians may not realize folks really won't notice if they don't comment about every topic on the media platform everyone still calls Twitter.

Life is not a dress rehearsal. This is it. There's no going back, and we can only go forward before we run out of runway.

It’s pretty standard empty language… just like the other eleventy billion politicians who said something…

Martaugh would be saying what he said even if she 100% stood with Israel and damned the Palestinians straight to hell. The entire point of his position was to find something wrong with anybody who might be involved in pushing back against his side… he’s no straight shooter.

I'll give her a hall pass on this one.

But what did she did, unconstitutionally locking down the state, and mixing Covid patients in nursing homes, despite a near unanimous legislature asking her to stop the practice, makes her a criminal.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

A number of left wing extremists getting hammered the last few days for their terrible responses to this attack. Kind of reminds me of when they referred to Christians as "Easter Worshippers" a few years ago to avoid acknowledging Christians were killed in a terrorist attack in Sri Lanka.

Let's be honest here - the Democrat party has more anti-Semite extremists in it than it claims the Republicans have white supremacists.

Which has never made sense to me since the Jewish population, by and large, votes Democrat. My family and I have had many spirited discussions about me being a Republican. lol

There has to be a reason for that… perhaps they don’t agree there’s much antisemitism there… perhaps they really don’t have a connection to Israel the way everyone assumes they should…

I think a lot of people equate any criticism of Israel (especially their government) as anti-Semitism.
