Hamas Attacks Israel

700+ dead in Israel. 100 hostages, many from a concert.

Our Gerald R Ford carrier is now headed to Israel.

There is a theory that Iran is behind this.

Blinken was on TV over weekend trying to whitewash Biden's weakness that Iran has always supported terrorism and frozen monies being returned to Iran weren't to blame. How foolish...

I read an article yesterday that Iran admitted to helping plan the attack. Israel will bring hell down on Hamas.

Yes, that's right AP. I banged my pinky toe on the coffee table this morning. Biden's fault.

Hezbollah is definitely getting its money from somewhere. Iran is a very likely source but perhaps not the sole source.

Reopen the US Oil Wells, allow exploration on federal lands, and replenish the oil reserves. Even if VIABLE alternatives can be perfected, it can't be done overnight.

To be fair, much of this under screw-up started under Obama, he just continued with path of weakness and handing over money for bad behavior.

The U.S. produces 6x as much oil as Iran:

I'd be curious to know which countries purchase from Iran. I suspect most of those nations are not allies of ours.

You can do better. Clinton? Carter? Johnson?

What Democrats were in office before that...

Oh! Truman? Roosevelt? Wilson? There's always another Democrat to blame.

Obama made me screw the babysitter when the wife caught us.

How about we use a half dozen of our 6500 nukes and just blow all of the people there to smithereens so we don’t have to wash rinse and repeat the Hatfield and McCoy thing that flares up there every few years?

Mega Hertz, your bloviating is a red herring this time around. We're talking about events that happened in the summer of 2016 - you know - when Obama quite literally sent Iran $400,000,000.00 in cash on an airplane.

That was money the U.S. legitimately owed them.

This is actually a good point. We need to open more land up to drilling so multinational companies can drill here and sell it abroad because our own oil is typically light and sweet, not heavy and less sweet, like the oil our refineries have been built to refine from the Middle East and Russia.

Maybe we don't give enough to companies to solve the problem. Maybe taxpayers need to pay more in tax expenditures to these large, highly profitable companies so they will get off their asses and pretend to do something.

Good thinking, Ben.

Do you think Iran will stop trying to fuck with us if we give them a 2024 Corvette?

Just about all the Democrats and a large percentage of Republicans still largely cling to a world view that the US is an illegitimate country which rightfully still belongs to the British. I don't believe many of them have a particularly strong loyalty to the US Constitution, its Bill of Rights, and the country in general. The last Democrat who truly loved the USA was JFK, and maybe Carter, and one of the few Republicans with complete loyalty to the country and its founders is Trump. And look what has happened. We have way too many "Citizens Of The World" running things.
