Fun fact:
GM made $22 billion last year. If they gave all UAW members a $50,000 raise, they would still make $18 billion. Stop letting these companies brainwash you. It’s time for a middle class restoration.
Fun fact: UAW members are ALREADY UPPER middle class.
$15 an hour is upper middle class? You sound like a Trump lover.
Where did $15/hour come from?
Average wage is ~$28/hour, according to the
US BLS, not UAW
BS.

The Big 3's biggest problem is usage of substandard materials (e.g. plastics in the engine compartment) and poor engineering.
Dry dual clutch transmission. Interference design with the water pump. Shitty electrical wiring harnesses. 'Nuff said.
The first two are Ford. Chain-driven water pumps are the dumbest idea ever. If the seals go, the water mixes with oil and destroys the whole engine. Drive the water pump off the alternator belt!

A 1.0 liter turbo charged engine, eh? Gee, what could possibly go wrong?
Yet another in a lengthy list of idiotic ideas from the Ford Motor Company.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

Ford could have added one more gear and had a much better engine. But an all-aluminum open-deck engine is pretty much a throw-away design.

$28 an hour is about $60,000 a year. Is this 'upper-middle class'?

Income has nothing to do with one's class.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

The starting tier begins at $15. The $28 threshold is the third tier. I notice that those who have never worked a union job or industry in their lives are the loudest voices.

It has 100% to do with class.

The real question is how much is the job WORTH?? Does it REALLY require any effort beyond showing up and producing some menial tasks? There might be SOME of those jobs that certainly do, but there's a WHOLE BUNCH that don't.
If you can't migrate to some more-challenging job over time, should you really be paid anymore to do the same job you did 2, 4, or 10 years ago? Perhaps an increase corresponding to inflation, but wasn't that was COLA was all about?

So by that metric a CEO should never get a new higher compensation package.

Maybe... and maybe not. If their responsibilities are increasing, maybe they should. Sometimes their jobs gets bigger and more complicated (as the company grows, for example), but there are cases where the CEO should be making LESS than they were the year prior, or you just get rid of them. Either way, if you can't find another candidate who would take on the current challenges at a similar rate then you might be stuck with the current one.

In what world does a CEOs responsibilities increase? How is that even possible?

Easy... acquisitions, gov't regulations, change in company direction, etc, etc.

This note refers to Matt, the obvious idiot.
Good one,
Maybe stay in the shallow end where you belong. If you think "weirdo" is an insult, you're pretty gd thin-skinned.
I wouldn't go as far as to call you an idiot. But I gotta be honest. I'm having a difficult time believing you work anywhere making 6 figures a year.
Every one of your posts, regardless of who it's directed to, is a simple minded quip from Trollville. Never any substance. Never anything insightful or engaging. Despite what you claim, I just don't see you having a higher education. I think you're fibbing.
Sorry.
The guy who had an account about his dick size and regularly says "I seen" is judging others? What the actual fuck?
It must be very boring in south Ann Arbor. Probably a good place to sit and listen to the cars rusting.
