What an embarrassment to the Senate and the Democratic Party. Can they force her to resign?

I'm not sure she even knows she has lost her mind. I can't blame her right now, but she probably should have resigned years ago.

This reminds me of RBG and to a lesser extent, Biden and Pelosi. All seems like a Weekend at Bernie's situation.

Why step down?

Add that guy that beat Dr. Oz to your list. No matter how badly they may be physically or mentally incapacitated, they still get full pay and benefits.

Just another benefit of getting paid by taxpayers.

Presumably, you've voted for her in the past...

I must say, I'm surprised to see Audiophile opining about an individual in another state...

I don’t think they can. It is unknown at best.

Why? Politically it should not be an issue. Shumer makes the call. Newsom appoints another Democrat.

I have voted for her before. Over a decade ago when she was a competent, well-spoken, and strong addition to Congress. She is not that now.

You referring to this guy?

I hope they don't retire FrankenFeinstein. Pretty boy will certainly appoint someone much younger and much farther to the radical left than her. A person we could be stuck with for years.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Has Feinstein ever shown up in a hoodie and shorts?

But absent her there would be another liberal Democrat… the state of California is full of them. It would be like me fretting about a conservative Republican in Wyoming were the situation there… the GOP in California is a non-factor.

Yes, yes it is. My point was that absent FrankenFeinstien, pretty boy would nominate someone even farther to the left and more radical than her. And yes, there is a "we." WE are the United States of America.

Except… they’d vote the same way… you’re acting like “pretty boy” (Juniors Girl sure thought so) appointing someone else somehow changes things. It doesn’t.
