He was the lone no vote on a case involving a subpoena from the January 6th committee to Trump requesting documents. His wife was texting Mark Meadows about how to overturn the election results days after the election in 2020. Her messages would have been involved in that information the committee obtained. Do you really think he voted no for any other reason than his wife might be in hot water if it got out?
