Yes. For the good of the country.

Biden should preemptively pardon him.
Should he pardon him for the Georgia indictment he's gonna get too? What about the January sixth indictment?
If such indictments come, then yes and yes.

I hope you're ready for Trump as President in 2024. I don't think Democrats are. And I think they'll revolt if and when he wins, tearing down the country in the process.
They might need 4000 mules this time!
I just realized that CONS call Democrats mules and sheep because they are so often out in the field with them, so it’s all they know. :rollin

But on a serious note, I don’t think pardoning Donald Trump would be the worst thing so we can all get on with our lives and quell the possibility of violence. I don’t think Dems realize how much they hurt themselves by giving Ron DeSatan a firewall for the primary in 2024. “Be careful what you wish for. Because you just might get it all, you just might get it all, and then some you don’t want.”

It's 7:20am edt on March 31, 2023 - it is amazing how much the probability of Trump being the 47th president has skyrocketed in just 24 hours. I don't think that's a good thing, but it seems more likely than not the fierce anti-Trumpers will reep what they are sowing.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

Even if 37% of voters cry foul, it doesn't get him elected. Remember, he lost an election as an incumbent BEFORE the insurrection. He has less support today than he did then. Let's not forget that he will probably lose Michigan.

You can't run for president from prison. However, it would certainly put the wind at Ronnie's back. But Matt is probably correct in that he will likely get a few months in prison tops.

He will most likely get a fine and nothing more and if there is "jail time" I bet it will be home detention.

Trump won't get jai time, he will appeal this until he's dead. If there's anything we know about Trump, he likes his lawyers.

He will also start one of his favorite grifts today: Legal Defense Fundraising

I wouldn't consider that the number of counts as any real measure of the severity of Trump's alleged crimes. What he should be worried about is the investigative granularity of the charges. Do they have the receipts? My opinion is you don't get a gig in the NYDA office by being a fuckup. These are highly accomplished professional that any Manhattan law firm would welcome in the snap of a finger. I'm very confident they understand the gravity of the case and how the integrity of their evidence they present needs to be faultless in order to take this to a jury. Metaphorically airtight. As he old adage says, the wheels of justice may grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine. They are not innocent in the way Trump taints the legal system, that's already baked in the cake and I doubt that's been neglected. They know they have one opportunity to take down a king.

The thing that keeps me awake at night is a real possibility that just one Cletus could tank the entire case should it go to a jury. One retired cop in Staten Island who is still pissed off he and his buddies can no longer beat a suspect senseless with impunity, one Karen who feels her privilege has been questioned can blow up the effort for reasons. Maybe we should have listened to Trump when he said he could shoot someone on 5th and never be held accountable. All it takes is one juror acting in bad faith.

There were hundreds if not thousands of people willing to commit treason and stage what amounted to an attempted coup because Trump convinced them that it was their patriotic duty to circumvent an election that he did not win. That's where your politically motivated miscarriage of justice resides.

That's what scares the living shit out of me.
You are living proof that Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real medical condition. I now understand why you suffer from depression. And I don't mean that as an insult. If you literally mean everything you said above, you should consider seeking professional help. Because it isn't normal to be kept awake at night thinking about whether a former President goes to jail or not.

Got to love these idiot fucks who want to defend Trump because he's such an honorable American. He's shit on democracy and called for the termination of the Constitution, but they honestly believe he belongs in the White House. How fucking stupid can you be?
Shouldn't you be out on a ledge somewhere?

That's the most ridiculous hyperbolic vitriol I've ever seen. :lol
What is hyperbolic about it?

"So, with the revelation of MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION in working closely with Big Tech Companies, the DNC, & the Democrat Party, do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION? A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution. Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!"

Is Bragg playing 4-D chess hoping Trump doesn't report this indictment as an in-kind campaign contribution?

Maybe he's just focused on the crime.

Of course it's an expression. No surprise it went over his head. Too busy weaponizing people's mental heath issues. What kind of sick fuck does that?
