I gotta be honest. This is a nothing burger. He said such supplies were "all to help counter Ukraine's brutal aggression that's happening because of Russia.".

Okay so isn't this the same as saying Ukraine is being aggressed against?
Or Ukraine is suffering brutal aggression because of Russia?

Is it too much to ask for President that is cogent?

Bush was ragged on for saying Strategery. Which actually is kind of clever.

Quail for a misspelling of Pommes De Terre.

So, I guess, excuse my French!

But Trump never ever committed any verbal gaffes.

"Would have"

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

Trump made me cringe all the time, but you must have not got the memo - he's not president anymore.

Gaffe Machine. Wasn't that an early 80s new wave band?

You mentioned Bush before I mentioned Trump.

BTW, Quayle (not Quail) was never President.

Well, in a move that may help balance out gaffes/lies made by either of these hood ornaments mentioned, the dinks @ Meta must have seen the error of their ways (read: lost a bunch of active users) and have announced that they are restoring T's Facebook and InstaGram accounts 'in the coming weeks'.

Sad, sad day.

Twitter did it first and the pressure was on more like it.

A gaffe and a lie aren't the same thing
A gaffe and an incredibly insensitive statement (whether true, false or an opinion) aren't the same thing, assuming the insensitive statement was intended as spoken.

I think trump is more guilty of the later than the former in both examples above.
Trump is incredibly insensitive. His beliefs are often incredibly polarizing. He lies more often than most politicians.
But when he opens his mouth most of the time he says what he intends. Those aren't gaffes, those are the words of an obnoxious human being.

Biden does commit gaffes, a fair number of them. They are essentially harmless on the surface. But they can't constantly be shrugged off. At some point they need to be charted to see if they are increasing and if so are they a sign of cognitive decline accelerating? The guy is 80 years old and as far as I know thinking of running again in 2024.
At some point democrat's need to start talking out loud whether he is their guy going forward.
And to be clear republicans need to shit can Trump and find a new "leader".
