Besides the economic issues, you don't pull valid permits unless you want to be seen as a banana republic.

There are costs to reducing carbon emissions. Those people have new jobs in this economy, life moves on. Many other democrats, (and we control the Presidency and the Senate) agree.

I have no sympathy for the Canadian corporations who lost out on profit. Perhaps they should invest in solar and wind.

Care to put your money where your mouth is and reduce your carbon footprint? This sounds pretty hypocritical from guy that buys old greyhound buses and drives them across country for fun.

You also have no empathy for those that suddenly lost their jobs, or the loss to the economy. There is no evidence that the cancelation reduces carbon emissions, as that oil will be transported by other methods.

A President shouldn't be able to cancel a valid federal permit. Your president has also sold oil from the strategic preserve for policsl purposes of lower oil prices, when there no real national emergency.

What planet do you live on? Permits and contracts get pulled and ended all the time. That’s not a sign of a banana republic… it’s a sign of a change in direction.

What planet do YOU live on?

How would you like it if you signed a contract, put money down, then several months later the other party says 'change of direction*, and you get no money back you and never received your product or service?

Change always involves job movement. Do you know how many auto workers are working on trains these days?

You look at Trump or George W Bush's administration and even attempt to suggest that Biden is the first to manage via executive power?

The oil that would be harvested in Canada was going to travel through sacred tribal land without permission all the way to the gulf coast and be sold to foreign countries has anything to do with America? It doesn't. Pipelines are a thing of the past.

As for me? I'm an enigma. Also, I am getting close to buying an electric truck drivetrain from Detroit Diesel. Those buses (at least one) are being converted to electric. I'm working on the battery cooling system this winter.

Yep those oil service companies are nothing but a bunch of victims.

That's a tacit admission from you that Biden was in bed with the train companies over the pipeline companies. That oil will still be sold, but moved by trains.

I think you are confused on tribal lands. The whole section 106 permitting process includes a lot more than just tribal lands, it includes all land of a state!

Converting an old bus to electric? Dude, you need brush up on physics, it's not practical or effective for travel trips. Save your money.

Wrong is wrong.

Libs will go to no ends defend a bad Biden action.

As a defender of Republicans you have lost your moral high road credentials.

Lol, I guess that is all you got.

I really don't remember defending things in recent times.
