We could also use some Screen Glare prose right about now...
I assume he's in "government housing" for threats on Trump when he was president.
If not the "striped sunlight" variety of government housing, then probably "Section 8" at least :smokin

Just read where MAGA members of the House are thinking of trying to install Trump as speaker. Evidently the speaker doesn't have to be a House member. Thankfully he would never get the votes needed to get the position.

Why in gods name would they expect that to be viable? Why is it that everytime the GOP loses there is a large faction that believes they were punished for not being true to their ideals?

They are obviously out of touch with reality.

I would say so. The first time I heard that was on one of the big talkers… it amounted to “we weren’t conservative enough for america so they elected Obama and the Democrats to teach us a lesson”… I couldn’t believe my ears… I believe that was 2008 or 2012. I’ve heard permutations of that ever since.

Trump holds a 31-point lead at the moment in 2024 primary polling.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epoll ... -7548.html

Granted, it is VERY early, but if he announces, he will be the strong front-runner right out of the gate. The same happened in 2016 and he never once relinquished that front-runner status.

If he does run, I think he gets the nomination. DeSantis is really the only challenger who could give Trump a run for his money, but DeSantis could end up like Rubio and Cruz - bloodied. So while some of you may not be convinced that Trump will run, I'm not convinced DeSantis will run if Trump does.

Trump filed his paperwork. He's officially running.

Let the sh*tshow begin.

Crickets in the Google news feed, all kinds of news about his tantrums and federal and state prosecutions though.

It just goes to show that some people never learn. I mean, this midterm should have been a slam dunk for Republicans, and the best they could do is eek a 2-5 seat lead in the House, Trump backed candidates were summarily shut down, and yet the dolt can't take a hint.

I don't have the energy for this again.
