New CDC guidance on covid

Post by Matt » Thu Aug 11, 2022 8:54 pm

This from this evening's WSJ "What's News" email blast:
The CDC dropped its recommendation to quarantine following a Covid-19 exposure.

That’s as long as the person doesn’t feel sick, gets tested after five days and wears a high-quality mask around others for 10 days. People still need to isolate for at least five days if they test positive. The agency also no longer suggests screening asymptomatic people for the virus in most settings. The updated guidelines reflect more protection from vaccines, treatments and prior infection now than earlier in the pandemic.
Seems like a pretty massive, LONG OVERDUE change.

It's another sign that we are in the post-pandemic phase and past the point of arguing about vaccination.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

We don’t seem to be worrying about COVID… we are too busy trying to stop a madman from selling nuclear secrets or something.
