Didn't bother to open the link. But I really do believe that, to some people, masks have become a fashion accessory, They'll go on wearing long after any need to has passed.
It can only be a matter of time until they start making them with brand logos emblazoned across them for the middle class. Tommy Hilfinger, Columbia, Old Navy, Levi etc.

Here's my favorite mask addiction ad, especially at the 21 second mark, where this guy throws on his mask during the one or two seconds when he passes someone outside. These ads will probably continue running long after the pandemic has subsided, because of the fearful need they have created in people.
