Spotify Technology SA has removed Neil Young’s music, the company confirmed Wednesday, as the folk-rock star isn’t wavering in his objections to Joe Rogan’s podcast.
The “Heart of Gold” and “Harvest Moon” singer earlier this week penned an open letter to his manager and label asking them to remove his music from the service, saying it is spreading fake information about Covid-19 vaccines through Mr. Rogan’s show. “They can have Rogan or Young. Not both,” he wrote.

Sounds like Neil Young needs a nap. Or maybe a Snickers bar.

Neil Young could care less. He has intelligence, principles, and talent. Rogan has none of the above, though he might have, or wind up with more money. Embrace your anti-vax hero all you want.

This makes me love Neil Young even more. I need to find where I put "Mirror Ball". I love the CD with him and Crazy Horse.

As Lynyrd Skynyrd once opined, "don't need him around anyhow."
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Neil who?
I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

Joe Rogan is a stupid person's idea of a smart person. The "I'm just asking questions!!!" schtick is tired.

What you all think of Joe Rogan isn't the point. My question would be, is ""I'm taking my ball and going home" how you deal with people who you think are stupid?
If Neil Young is so confident in his beliefs, he should challenge Joe Rogan to a debate. But instead of defending his position against somebody who disagrees with it, he instead decides to just up and leave Spotify just because Joe Rogan hosts content on the same platform. That isn't "principles." That is a temper tantrum.
Why is the pro-vaccine cult (I'm not just talking about people who believe getting vaccinated is the right choice; rather, those who are obnoxiously public about their opinion) so adverse to defending their position against those who challenge it? Science must be able to stand up to scrutiny.

I see your point, and pretty much agree. Neil's music has always been more serious in nature and not worthless commercial crap, so it follows with his persona.
And as time goes on, I'm more and more in favor with nuts like Rogan spouting their fallacies. If anyone is dumb enough to listen to this guy over science and pump themselves with invectrom or whatever that shit is, so be it. Thin the herd.

I can honestly ask Joe who. I've never heard of this character. Some sort of country singer, I suppose

Joe Rogan did Fear Factor, was a UFC commentator, and only owns the biggest podcast network.
As far as Neil Young, even my mother knows who he is. I honestly don't know how a Boomer doesn't know who Neil Young is. "Old Man" has 77 million views on YouTube. You should watch it.

Of course, I know who Young is. But why should care whenever he pronounces an opinion about anything.
It's just the arrogance of celebrities. They all have a publicist on staff who's job it is to keep their name in the news. Like we're all wanting to know their every thought.
