Gavin Newsom's Ban on Small Engines

Post by audiophile » Wed Oct 20, 2021 8:26 am

I think most of this is BS. Electric Weed Eaters, Electric Leaf blowers and Electric Push Lawnmowers is reasonable.

Why didn't he just ban frequent lawnmowing? The average homeowner doesn't need to have a golf course...

I completely disagree with banning generators, ATVs, etc.

He's pissed that there was a recall election, and now that he won, he's out for revenge. Kinda like with Whitmer once Republicans tried to reign in her power.

Do you have a rudimentary knowledge how legislation works? Or do you really think he personally constructed this bill and had it passed in the weeks since the recall election?

That said, I agree this is a short-sighted and foolish law.

He could have vetoed the legislation, but chose not to.

Loathsome is awful, and this ban is awful. In regards to keeping up a yard, most people choose to have nice yards. That includes frequent lawn mowing.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

Pollution from small engines is nothing compared to the stuff that comes out of the big smokestacks.

Do you have any actual data to back that up?

90% of Carbon Monoxide emissions now come from unfiltered marijuana smoke. 99% in Hollywood.

This was published recently in "The Journal of Unreproducible Results", which can be a lot of journals.

I know this nut is a certifiable lunatic, but this is probably an attempt at humor from him, right? He can't be that crazy, can he?

He's mistaken Ann Arbor for Hollywood.
