He has been against masks from day one continuously. He needs to be a hermit and stay that way. He is a national disgrace and created our current hell.

I agree with zzand here, but at the same time, it's good Trump at least made an effort to persuade the legion of morons to get vaccinated.

Trump usually only cares about Trump; it's nice to see him attempt to do something for the common good.

Both my children got Covid and everyone was using a basic-store bought mask (non-N95).

They don't work, which I already knew. I didn't matter because kids weren't high risk.

What Trump should have done was convince them.

He for sure has the ability to do that.

He simply covered his own butt with a weak suggestion. He wanted video/audio of him “encouraging” mask wearing. Why? His next presidential ad campaign. He knows by the time that rolls around most American voters will have been vaccinated and he wants their votes. Instead of only video and audio of him doing the opposite. Of which there’s plenty.
