Biden approval rating down to 32% among Independents

Post by bmw » Wed Oct 06, 2021 4:48 pm

This per a recent Quinnipiac poll.

Overall approval rating at 38%.
That number is at 33% among Independents.

By topic:

48% approval on Covid response
39% approval on the economy
37% approval as Commander-in-Chief
37% approval on tax policy
34% approval on foreign policy
25% approval in immigration policy
23% approval on his handling of the Mexico border

https://poll.qu.edu/poll-release?releaseid=3824

If it weren't for his modest marks on handling Covid, his overall approval would likely be in the low 30s.

And since I don't see any of these problems getting any better by next year, it looks like Democrats may get slaughtered in the midterms.

What exactly has he done for a covid response?

Lots of vaccine and mask mandates, for starters.

It's a long way away in political terms, and I don't see a threatening GOP platform yet.

Mask mandates are on federal property only. The vaccine distribution plan through private pharmacies was Trump. Mass vaccination sites were ineffective.

So, if they don’t get “slaughtered”, the election was “rigged” again?

It's a Poll with liberal bias. It's likely that the approval rating is lower.

Whoever strived to put Biden on the ballot had a nefarious purpose. Both Biden and Harris showed up very low in the primaries. The dementia had to have been apparent during the primaries if not by the election. Why did they do it?

Because they received the most votes. It's called "democracy" you insane shithead. But trying to explain it to some deranged psycho who still believes the election was stolen and it was Antifa plants that were bashing police heads in with American flags on January 6th is impossible. Go read your buddy Alex Jones and inject horse tranquilizers and leave us all alone.

I will assume that comment is directed at me. If you've read any of my posts related to the 2020 election since the election took place, you'd know that I am NOT a proponent of the "election was rigged" nonsense and I've called out Trump multiple times for continuing that narrative. Right from day 1 I congratulated Biden on his fair-and-square victory.

Actually it was directed at the I.S. above, Honeyman has elaborated most eloquently.
