Shot Fired

Naming McConnell a "dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack," Trump said that the GOP would "never again be respected or strong" with McConnell at its helm.
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump- ... -statement

McConnell is a lot of things but “political hack” is not one of them. 2022 ha begun.

He is going to try like hell to wrest full control of the party away from the folks that have been controlling it for decades. They better hope they can ride a tiger.

WSJ:

"Mr. Trump may run again, but he won't win another national election. He lost re-election before the events of Jan. 6, and as President his job approval never rose above 50%. He may go on a revenge campaign tour, or run as a third-party candidate, but all he will accomplish is to divide the center-right and elect Democrats. The GOP's defeats in the two Jan. 5 Georgia Senate races proved that. The country is moving past the Trump Presidency, and the GOP will remain in the wilderness until it does too."

The Party has already surrendered to Trump. They want him as their leader.

Trump in 2024. America adores Trump.

They won’t give up his leadership until his death and Jr. may even inherit the supporters. It’s a cult.

Trump made an even stronger showing in 2020 than he did in 2016. Bide just has to piss off a few voters to tip the scale back to Trump.

Lindsey just said that Lara Trump "was the future of the GOP"

And what about Ivanka? Isn't she gonna run against Rubio?

The Republican party is a complete clusterfuck.

How did Mitch's hand picked candidates do in Georgia? They both lost to radical Marxists.

Control of the Republican party must be wrested from Mitch if they want to be successful going forward.

Ole Mitch likes to play politics the way it was done twenty years ago. That doesn't work in 2021.

There was a poll taken a day or two ago that showed around 75% of Republicans wanted Trump to be involved with the Republican party going forward. Mitch certainly doesn't want that to happen.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Neither of the Democrats in Georgia are marxists nor are they radical.

Trumps movement on the other hand is chock full of radicals. On a broad basis they will doom themselves to the minority and irrelevance long term if they stick with Trump. The money backers will leave and without them the party will not function properly, not that it already does. McConnell didn’t lose those seats. Trump did. How? By telling his supporters it was rigged endlessly. He sabotaged them because his supporters stayed home. Absent the stupidity of trying to win by telling people not to bother voting cause it’s rigged anyway they would have likely won at least one of those seats. Everything he touches dies.

Trudeau wants an election this spring. He believes his handling of the pandemic has made him so popular, he'll win it in a landslide.

"To be sure, the Marxist critique has much to teach the black church. Marxism has an important role in the maturation of black theology through showing “interconnectivity of racial and class oppression.”

Raphael Warnock

Warnock also sites Dr. James Cone as a “academic advisor and intellectual mentor."

Do some research before you make statements junior.
