That Impeachment Trial Was Fantastic

Post by screen glare » Tue Feb 16, 2021 4:01 am

It has forever documented Trump’s demented, shameful, unprecedented crime against the nation and democracy. Of course everyone knew pre trial that he could never be convicted - as it’s a given most Republican ass-kiss senators fear Trump more than they love their country.

But everyone who had time to watch got a much better understanding of how harrowing the combat was,

how brave most Capitol and Metro police are,

how Trump’s plan to kill Pence shockingly nearly happened,

what close calls senators and staffers endured resulting in PTSD which will get worse,

how the insurrectionists kept loudly insisting Trump had invited them to do what they were doing,

AND how Mitch forever put an exclamation point on Trump’s second impeachment - by telling the world TRUMP indeed INCITED the capitol VIOLENCE - and had not beat the rap yet - as he can still be convicted in a court of law.

What superb, riveting audio/visual action for upcoming election ads and movies/history books. The court of majority public opinion is the only court that matters. Trump’s ever shifting, shifty defense team sold their jurisdiction lie to folks who desperately needed a false excuse.

Did ya get a load of how many Republicans left the GOP after the deadly insurrection which Trump invited, aimed, and ignited?

Tons of life-long Republican voters have post-insurrection been motivated to leave the party. Guess they’re sick of defending and trying to explain Trump’s symptoms of his mental illness.

January 6th was the culmination of his symptom-manifestations over decades.
