Not a chance. Do you honestly think their social agendas are at all compatible?

The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.

Well, a matchup is possible, but let's see what develops in 4 years. I doubt Joe will run in 2024.

I expect primaries on both sides. I also wouldn’t rule out Trump following through with his “patriot party” idea.

Me personally, I can't shag the feeling Pence has no desire to be an elected official again. Maybe run around suck up some speaking fees. Serve on some high paying boards. Write a book. Be a commentator on Fox News. That sort of thing.

But not run for office.

Harris will likely be the incumbent, so she will have some sort of record to run on. I don’t see Pence getting the nomination.

Biden will be just fine. Trump is more likely to die in the intervening period. He’s in far worse health.

Both are likely to pass away shortly after 2024. Neither is in very good shape.

I certainly agree that there will be a wide open primary. I see Ted Cruz being the GOP nominee without Trump in the way. If Trump runs as an independent, the GOP is in trouble.

Don't tease about Trump leaving us for the underworld...

Here's the third party candidate... I fully expect the conspiracy theory brigade partnering with the racists and forming a new party. when that happens there's no need to worry about the Republican candidate anymore because they won't approach a majority of votes.

Trump is said to be mulling starting the “Patriot Party”... this would ensure Democratic majorities for years to come. I’m all for it.

My prediction for the 2024 matchup:
Kamala Harris on the Democratic side (likely as the incumbent after Biden dies or resigns; if Biden is in office in 2024, I would almost expect him to pull an LBJ and decide not to run)
Ron DeSantis on the Republican side (beating out the likes of Ted Cruz and Mike Pence during the primary cycle)

Another wild 2024 prediction is that Debbie Stabenow retires instead of running for reelection. If Stabenow retires, I could see Whitmer running for her Senate seat (especially if she gets beat in 2022)

Trump won't start a new party. He still has a supermajority of support from Republican voters, so why would he when he can take full advantage of the party apparatus? If he has future political ambitions, he'd be better off remaining a Republican and forcing those who don't support him to instead start THEIR own third party. When he said he'll be back "in some form" I took that to mean either a social media platform startup or a tv network startup.

On the Democrat side, I don't see either Biden or Harris as the nominee in 2024. I don't know who it will be, but if I had to bet on it, I would say someone other than either of those 2.

Oh, and there's virtually zero percent that Cruz gets the (R) nomination. He has the same problem that Trump currently has, re: being blamed for the capitol riots. Plus just like in 2016, he still comes across to me as a used car salesman.

I dunno about all that. I'm in agreement about Biden. He won't run. But it sure seems to me that Harris is being groomed for the part. I've said it before, it truly would not suprise me to see Biden step down after two years, and let her have the keys to Burnes' old place. I don't think Biden will be sick or unable. I think he'll simply say he wants to retire.

...and I think if she does take the reigns for a year or two that she'll be an utter disaster of a President, even by Democrat standards, hence, why I think she'd be primaried.
