They dropped 7% but have rebounded 2% already today. They will lose about 40 million users but not taking action would have resulted in a bigger loss from the institutional investors.

Since widespread dissemination of information is temporarily hobbled, there will be a grass roots movement to defund leftist corporations. You defund the police, we defund YOU.

The Tea Party started as a grass roots movement.

As the TRUTH behind who really incited the Capitol "riot" (ANTIFA, BLM, and other leftists) comes out, this will accelerate into a full blown movement. That's good, because now the right is "woke". They know who their enemy is, and they will use every legal means to retaliate. Selling off liberal stocks is a good start. The left is now "ofay" to millions, 80 million Trump voters by some estimates ("official" quoted numbers are reduced due to election fraud).

Aren't Union pension funds invested in the stock market? Do you know how much Twitter stock your fund owns?
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Many Pension Funds invest ethically and would have been divesting of their twitter investments had they not done the morally correct thing.

You are a loony tune.

Seriously, anyone who believes this is certifiable. You're crazy. Your friends and family, if you have any, must tell you this all the time. You're nuts. You need help.

This was a planned disruption by ANTIFA, BLM, and other left wing organizations. Deep down, you know it. Trump supporters are NOT VIOLENT! The Left is VIOLENT.

I pulled out of the stock market before Covid-19. It's too high to get back in right now (think bubble).

Yeah, because their falling stock price has nothing to do with the fallout of people leaving the platform

I guarantee you the stock wouldn't have fallen as much if they had left Trump's account in-tact. I see the stock is rebounding a bit now, but that won't last. Price will be below $40 before the month is out.

Stock price won't effect me at all. I'm a socialist.

Of course it fell, they will lose about 40 million active users. But guess what? Just like any business, I am sure their VIP shareholders are aware. It must suck to be so deplorable that taking a significant hit to the stock price is better than allowing the domestic terrorists to use your platform for evil.

They recovered much of the loss today in trading. Since banning Trump they are down two and a half percent which is not extraordinary if you look at their six-month performance.
