As much as I would have liked seeing Sally Yates get the gig (along with a steaming cup of FU) I'm good with this and frankly there's no reason should a SCOTUS slot open Garland gets that position and Yates takes over for him at Justice.

Fun Fact: Merrick Garland was the lead investigator & prosecutor in the 1995 bombing of the Oklahoma City's Alfred P. Murrah Federal building that lead to the convictions of Michael Fortier, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols.
