I want a spaceship in my own Private island. The difference between asking and getting is a vast crevasse.

I love how people try to take their warped sense of what America should be and wrap it in fundamentals or the Constitution or some other reasoning.

the Constitution was designed to be a living document, otherwise there would be no provision for amendments. could you imagine how unstable our country would be right now if Trump were in charge of the economy and not the Fed?

Learning from our mistakes and making changes to our government is part of the plan.

All the votes are now counted, except those that are "found" by the conspiracy types.
Jon Ossoff (D) leads by 17,567 votes over David Perdue (R) with nearly all of the ballots counted.

Ossoff DEM 2,213,099 | 50.2%
Perdue GOP 2,195,532 | 49.8%

Raphael Warnock (D) is projected to defeat Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R) and leads by 54,729 votes.

Warnock DEM 2,231,728 | 50.6%
Loeffler GOP 2,176,999 | 49.4%

No he isn’t. Read his full reasoning. He has petitioned Pelosi and co. to sponsor legislation to make it legal without the government oversight and federal taxes. That was the dealbreaker to him, and I understand his reasoning.

He also wants troops out of foreign countries.
Why exactly does a lack of oversight for things like safety and quality and not collecting taxes make any logical sense. This clown can have his cake and eat it too. He can say he’s for something and then derail the easiest way to get it done.

It’s a state issue. The feds should not be involved. Makes sense to me.

If the Constitution is actually followed, it’s clearly a state issue (Tenth Amendment). I know you don’t like that whole Constitution thing, and don’t think the process for amending it should be followed. Instead, you believe only the parts you like should be enacted.

Ah the voter fraud tin hat fables once again commence. I am painting a picture in my mind of child, who's trying to beat Super Mario Brothers: The Lost levels, comes so close, only to die at the hands of buzzy Beatle and is sent back to world 1. He cries, whips the game controller around, yells "cheating unit" . Some adults never evolve from these childish phases.

Did you complain when the Democrats did the same after the 2000, 2004, and the 2016 elections? It’s perfectly fine and legal for any member to challenge any state’s electoral votes.

They did not object in 2000 and 2016. They objected to Ohio’s electoral votes in 2004 to highlight voter access concerns which is something that John Kerry disavowed.

Warnock and Ossoff have both been declared victors. It is now a 50/50 Senate with the fabulous VP Elect Harris leading.

You need a Senator to have an objection. In 2000 and 2016 that did not happen. Therefore there was no objection. In 2004 and again tonight that did happen and therefore there were objections. I can space out each individual letter if you need this slower or something.

You need a Senator to file a formal objection and to debate. Their actions still occurred and are on record, I’m sure the video still exists. They attempted to protest the electoral college vote. I’d equate it to Georgia, Michigan, and Nevada last night (or this morning). I didn’t stay up long enough to see if they did the same for Wisconsin.
