Many in Western Europe live in homes the size of shoeboxes. Go to IKEA and they have many examples. Gas is also extremely expensive, so you are forced to abide by a mass transit schedule to travel a decent distance or pay up the nose. You can only ride a bike for so long until your legs get sore, and you need to put your luggage somewhere if it’s an overnight trip.

Canada has long waits for care. Go to any hospital in the Detroit, Buffalo, or other border city areas prior to the border shutdown and count the number of Canadian license plates. Some are healthcare workers because the pay is better, but many are also patients for surgeries. Cost of food is also lower in the US, so those workers also buy their groceries here. To them, it’s worth the border hassles (the workers probably have NEXUS cards). That’s also why Ontario has complained about nursing shortages for years.

Ever been to Toronto? It’s far from clean. Fun city with lots to offer and great people yes, but it is as dirty in places as any US city.

The air and water will not be cleaner, or at least not enough for what is being paid. As I said, and they have admitted, this is just a disguise for socialism. If you want everyone else except the government and movie stars and Bezos’s of the world to be poor and have less freedom, this is the plan for you.

The US has some the strictest air regulations in the world. Look up EPA Tier II Bin 5 and compare it EU 5.

There are a lot of reasons that the homes in Europe are small, the gas is expensive and mass transit is everywhere... regulation is not top of mind.
