The charts don't lie. Hate crimes were high during the Bush presidency, then went down from 2009 to 2016 when Obama was in office. The hate crimes crept back up from 2017 to 2020. That tells you that Republican administrations are not keeping a lid on white supremacy.

If you bother to read the report, you will find that hate crimes against blacks are down, while hate crimes against Jews are up.
It's not the Republican party that has consistently showed disdain for Jews or the State of Israel. I would submit that the majority of hate crimes against Jews are committed by people that would look a lot more like Obama's son (if he had one) than Trump's son.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
