Well, I've said it before on here. The comedians and their writers have gotten lazy. Back in the days of Letterman and Carson and Leno, the writers would sit around a table for 5 or 6 hours every day and write jokes. Now it's just stand there and make fun of someone. Not much work involved in that if you think about it.

They'll have some material for the next few months, but after that, then what? They've adapted their shows to 4 years of Trump. A recent study found that 97% of all political jokes in late night were about Trump. Are they going to make fun of Biden and Kamala?

Let's remember for a second that Trump likes to bait the talk show hosts and Saturday Night Live. He adds his own commentary to culture which just creates a pile on effect.

He's a narcissist, he's a racist and he has a comb over. It's not exactly a bullseye but it's a decent sized Target. you also need to acknowledge that comedian's audience tend to be younger and tend to be more liberal.

If Biden and Kamala are going to be as boring as I think they will, I am betting you won't hear as much. There are conservative comedians who certainly roasted Obama.

Using your logic, you are racist because you didn't vote for John James.
Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

Apparently it's ok to alienate a good portion of your potential audience.

Conservative Christians aren’t very likely to consider late night comedy appropriate viewing.

How does that change the fact that TCT is an obnoxious dickhead?

I don't see how those issue are related. That label from you might just be a badge of honor...

Well, who's up at midnight during the week?

Is it fair to say the people that are watching are on the low end of the pay scale? The folks who live a "simpler" life? The folks who do most of their shopping at Dollar General? The one's that get up just in time to catch Wendy Williams?

That's true, but the men are on the Xbox, many women have kids.

But your link is apples and oranges.

Folks spending money to go to a show in the evening is a little different than folks staying up past midnight watching the the boob tube.

Let's be honest, folks that stay up until the wee hours of the morning every night (no matter what they are doing) seem a little special. Think of the friends and family you know who this describes. Are they just a little lower on the social and economic ladder? You try to steer a conversation with them to something thoughtful and incisive, and they fog up like a windshield with a bad heater core?
