The death rate among people his age and health is a damn sight higher than someone your age or mine in ok health.

Given that he got the drugs and he went to the hospital his condition is clearly deteriorating and they are very worried about his ability to remain a going concern. This started out as “we’ll spend our convalescence here at the White House”... that was 18 hours ago.

So much for doesn’t affect many and the odds are he’ll be just fine.

Oh and hospitalizations incidentally occur about a quarter of the time with the virus anyways. Remember deaths aren’t the problem but rather hospitalizations. Lots of people get out in an ICU who get this thing. Only a smaller portion goes down in flames from there.

The fact that the military is on high alert on both coasts tells me all I need to know. He isn't faking it and is seriously ill. Having been sick in the hospital in March and April surrounded by COVID infected people and suspected myself, I would not wish that on anyone.

My thought exactly. I thought at first it may be a false positive like Dewine in Ohio, but when I learned Looking Glass was active on both coasts I realized it wasn't a false positive and a potentially serious situation.
