Ol' Honest Uncle Gigolo Joe '88 bid was sidelined when he 'occasionally' lifted others' speech 'themes' and made them his own...
Not sure about your nickname, but the situation certainly happened.. really did take a pretty big hit over the speech plagiarism incidents (there were more than one). But others have done that as well - see Trump, Melania or Rubio, Marco.

BTW, I totally agree with your footnote/slogan.

Joe Biden hit a home run with his historic, satiating, longed for acceptance speech Thursday night.

Does not have dementia. Reads well. Speaks fine. And was telling folks everything they’ve wanted to hear - from a new American president.

Thanks, Bold Joe. You reassured a lot of us. Time to vote you into the White House and fix what Trump has carelessly burned - with crazy glee and stupid, selfish, childish abandon.

He will always be Putin’s puppet. Always Q’s messiah.
And the captured who believe QAnon - will always bow and worship Trump - to death.

Revealing to see your disappointment cloaked in laughter. People often nervously laugh to hide their inevitable hard swallow of a very bitter pill. Reality just bit you in the butt, Times Up Trumpsters. You can’t handle the truth.

I’ve got a good idea! Amuse yourselves with fantasy - in your latest Looney Tune Theatre conspiracy selection.

Wonder how many takes they had to do with that Biden speech before they got a "production" version?

Admit it...

Both CLIntons laid all the groundwork necessary for the current Whitehouse occupant to be there.

Credit where due.
Interesting point! I am inclined to agree.

From ESPN Films (which runs 14 minutes) why Michael Dukakis did not became president in November of 1988: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PICluK9Wjzs
