Unfortunately, you are right. You're not alone. There are way too many people so ideologically warped they are unable to use logic and reason.
The leading cause of death for black males ages one through 44 is homicide. In Chicago alone, there have been over 400 homicides so far this year, The vast majority of victims (365) are young black males between the ages of 14 and 40. Has Black Lives Matter cared to do anything about this horrific situation? Have any of the "usual suspects" who are quick to show up somewhere when there is perceived racial injustice taking place cared enough to go to Chicago and do something about it? Have years of Democratic control of that City and State, you know, the party that claims to 'care" about black people, when in reality they only care about the black vote, done anything about it? The answer is a resounding NO!
Now come our "racist', "bigoted", "clown" of a President Donald John Trump:
“This rampage of violence shocks the conscience of our nation and we will not stand by and watch it happen.”
Now comes AG Barr, the "racists" henchman,:
“The principal danger to the lives of our inner-city communities is violent crime,” Barr said Wednesday. “The leading cause of death for young Black males is homicide... Every one of those lives matter."

They actually care to try to do something to help a inner-city black community in crisis when no one else has done one damn thing and those that haven't cared to lift a finger to solve the problem that has been happening for years excoriate him.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
