Sure but as a practical matter if you're Cyrus Roberts Vance Jr. and you find enough evidence to bring charges, it's going to be much tougher proceeding against President Trump than private citizen Trump.Rate This wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 2:40 pmThe court ruled he is not immune from state prosecution effectively...Lester The Nightfly wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 2:31 pmWell yeah, this really has no bearing on the 2020 election other than extra motivation on Trump's part to stay in office where he's largely immune from being held accountable for criminal behavior. My worry is how that motivation plays out.

No doubt... but at least the possibility is actually there on the record now. I consider that a win.Lester The Nightfly wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 2:53 pmSure but as a practical matter if you're Cyrus Roberts Vance Jr. and you find enough evidence to bring charges, it's going to be much tougher proceeding against President Trump than private citizen Trump.Rate This wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 2:40 pmThe court ruled he is not immune from state prosecution effectively...Lester The Nightfly wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 2:31 pmWell yeah, this really has no bearing on the 2020 election other than extra motivation on Trump's part to stay in office where he's largely immune from being held accountable for criminal behavior. Good luck to those of you that think they will be seen by anyone before the middle of November.
After then, they are useless as a political tool.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Absolutely. There will be a long line of aggrieved parties if (as has been already documented to some degree) there's solid documentation of asset values being under or over appraised. Banks, tax entities other than the IRS, insurance companies, professional services, etc. There will be no shortage of folks that may well have actionable claims against him.Rate This wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 3:33 pmNo doubt... but at least the possibility is actually there on the record now. So, how's that impeachment thing working out?
Yeah, Trump's about as likely to end up in jail as he is to be impeached.

Re: New York gets Trump's Records
It worked fine. The cowardly senators put a stop to the trial without even hearing anything.
Re: New York gets Trump's Records
I thought Robert Mueller was going to take Trump down. Wasn't that what was promised for like a year and a half?
Re: New York gets Trump's Records
He identified 10 examples of possible obstruction of justice and left it to congress to make a move.
Re: New York gets Trump's Records
That's the whole point. Dems KNEW that the Republican-controlled Senate wouldn't go for it and that the whole thing would be nothing more than a dog-and-pony show. All of that for what? An * next to his name in the history books. Congratulations Mr. Mueller and Dems - what an amazing accomplishment!

BMW,
Don't ever preach ethics or morals while also supporting this career criminal.
It's embarrassing.

I did, neither were perfect, but I win that argument. I also don't promote her incensently.

Your President isn't perfect, nobody is, but he's a far better American than anyone in the Klinton Crime family.

Hillary emailed classified information, over unsecured internet connections, while in enemy territory. That per James Comey. That alone is worse than anything you can come up with on Trump.
