Yep... it's cold, dark, and lonely. In the summer it is humid and full of bugs. The deer are constantly trying to destroy your vehicle and the people really don't like you.

They think there will be restaurants, movie theaters, nightclubs, etc...

The reality is some cubicle dweller moves up here... within a couple months his woman is hanging out at the local tavern, blowing some logger and not coming home at all. By winter he is alone, frustrated, and broken with an awful beard from being too despondent to shave. By January he has left her behind and moved into a townhouse in some Milwaukee suburb. Eventually she gets replaced for a new model and moves back to Kenosha to live with her ailing Grandmother.

Then there is Livingston County, and outlying areas of other adjacent Counties. It's already happening. Out migration will just increase greatly, as it did in Detroit and other large cities in the 1950s and 1960s and beyond. Middle Class Black people will move out too, as they have been doing for just a few less decades. Middle Class Blacks don't like KAOS any better than Whites.
