Talk About Government Overreach

Cuomo is police-state guy, and uses EO's, legislation and lawsuits to control & bully people.

And some of you knuckleheads want him as vp or president?

What did you expect from the libs. Look at who’s the presidential candidate Sleepy Ass Joe Biden, he seems like he’s always comatose.

If I was a New Yorker and had made the tremendous sacrifices they have made over the past three months, I wouldn't want to start importing new infections from states that have behaved irresponsibly.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

A 14-day quarantine for visitors from hot spots is very sensible.

Making it mandatory (how?) and pulling people over because they have an out of state license plate (due process anyone?) is not.

You think policing is a problem now? Try implementing a mandatory 2 week quarantine and pulling people over for having the wrong plate on their car! Oy!!

I think this quarantine, Newsom insisting on masks, etc., are not really not proclamations that are meant to be enforced. These governors simply hope that citizens are vigilant and respectful enough to heed the warnings.

I have no issue with using the so-called bully-pulpit to encourage people to practice safety, but I'm pretty sure went well beyond that.

Why target Arkansas plates when they only have had 240 deaths statewide?

Because it’s about cases and folks who might have the virus... the deaths don’t mean anything unless somebody is smuggling a dead COVID patient from Arkansas to New York for some unknown morbid reason?

Three months ago NY didn't have any problem EXPORTING Covid to other states. Ask CT, NC, SC, and FL about how they felt about that.
