Apparently 80% of the worlds population eats insects as a part of their diet. We don’t in western culture because our climates don’t support year round cultivation of them and we’ve had a few run ins with disease and famine from the ones we have so all bugs came to be seen as pests...

The best bang for your buck (most protein per dollar spent) is whey isolate. Three days a week, my entire caloric intake is whey isolate.

On occasion, after a extreme workout, I will mix it with chocolate milk for an extra boost. Yummy.

You can keep your bugs. I swore I would never, ever eat them again after the first time.

I support north American farmers. I buy a gallon of whole milk even if I can't use it all. It's loss leader so it only costs $1.60 for a whole gallon (60 cents more over a half gallon).

The vanilla flavored product is quite nice. Mixed with crushed ice it's close to a milk shake. Once in a while I'll toss in some malt.

The Michigan Buzzboard should have a logo. I suggest a bug that buzzes. A bee.

Environmentalists will appreciate that choice seeing as how bees appear threatened by their own disease epidemic.

However since this is The MICHIGAN Radio and TV Buzzboard - maybe a mosquito would be a better choice. I’ve certainly heard their high pitched buzz when they fly close to my ear.
