Memorial Day

I'd like everyone to remember why today is a National Holiday. Fly your flag today. Honor American hero's past and present.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Yes. This is an excellent day each year to think back on all our military heroes. Like the late great US senator, John McCain. Who endured years of torture and suffering in the Hanoi Hilton POW prison - refusing early release - so he could remain with his men in that unspeakable hell of broken bones, starvation, lice, cold, fever, diarrhea, vomiting, burns, stabs, thirst, heat, and enemy propaganda. And his ticket in was his plane shot down.

Contrast that with his cowardly detractor Donald J. Trump. Five time draft dodger to avoid serving his country in the Vietnam War.

Also let us honor the five young men drafted in Trump’s place. I wonder if he ever wonders whether they returned home alive or in flag-draped coffins?

Nah. He’s busy playing golf while more Americans die in the pandemic. A death count now surpassing several wars including Vietnam.
