And they both still have the HIGHEST case fatality rates it the nation!! And you should check that data on "lowest rates of spread"...last I checked they were no where near the lowest. MI was about 1/2 in the pack of all states.

Deaths balloon in June predicted by the CDC

Re: Deaths balloon in June predicted by the CDC
Wow. TCtalksshit reveling in American deaths just so he can feel justified in his predictions.
There are only 2 numbers that are of importance.
1. How many are hospitalized
2. How many actually die from it.
The number of positive cases doesn't mean jackshit. It's irrelevant.
Hospitals were never "overwhelmed" as predicted. And the only way to get an idea on how deadly it really is. Is to compare the overall death toll from the same timeframe in previous years. Because everyone with remotely any common sense knows the number of death has been exaggerated. Doctors from around the world have reported that they were instructed to code deaths as covid related whether it was the cause or not.

Any evidence, or are you a "pull it out of your ass" type that just magically arrived knowing way too much about the workings of our board.

In several places down South At the present time we are seeing full or nearly full ICU’s and dwindling capacities. Too bad.

My other ID? Lol, sorry to disappoint you but I've just recently found this place. As far as "the workings of this bored" don't kid yourself. I had you pegged after reading about 2 of your posts.
I'm guessing overweight mouth breather who was born with a silver spoon shoved up your ass. You live and grew up in a predominantly "white" city or town. Have probably never known a hard days work in your life.
Am I close? Shall I go on?

Because I can't find any videos of hospitals being "overwhelmed" or at max capacity. But I can see where the "emergency hospital" that was put up to handle the "overflow" of covid19 patients around Detroit was dismantled.
You know what else you can easily find? Doctors and nurses making "TicTocks" while on duty. And that was when NY was supposed to be being "overwhelmed".

It only gets worse from here. The deaths will lag 3-5 weeks.

Where's the video showing that?
"George Ralls, the vice president and system chief quality officer with Orlando Health, said that hospitals are currently operating at around 85% capacity, which is a rise from earlier in the pandemic but also around the normal rate; Ralls attributed the rise to patients who would normally receive hospital care like elective surgeries returning to inpatient facilities."

Re: Deaths balloon in June predicted by the CDC
Did you check those places and their capacity this time last year?? Yes, they were all at or above 90%!!! So, how much is "covid" really impacting them?? What have they done to set up temporary facilities for any spike? Are they using ANY of those facilities yet?? (BTW, how many beds at Showplace or Cobo have been used when our local hospitals were at "peak" capacity??)Rate This wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 10:20 pmOh goody... a live one..RedMenace wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 9:49 pmWow. The temporary hospitals were set up in case they were needed. It’s better to be safe than sorry in this case. The lockdown seems to have mitigated it for now.km1125 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 9:04 amDid you check those places and their capacity this time last year?? Yes, they were all at or above 90%!!! Re: Deaths balloon in June predicted by the CDC
Cases are way down which lines up with a significant lack of contact between people. We can see the hot weather isn’t to blame unless you’re going to sell me a blizzard in Miami in July?
Re: Deaths balloon in June predicted by the CDC
Yes, much, much better to stick those sick folks in the old folks' homes or back in a regular hospital so folks are afraid to get their normal ongoing non-Covid treatment!!! You PAID to build and maintain temp facilities to treat COVID patients and then NOT use it??? STUPID ALL AROUND and puts more people at risk!!

It was handled poorly. But that’s what happens without a coherent national response.
