Those 4 most recent numbers ought to scare the hell out of Democrats wanting to take back the White House in November - 49, 55, 56, and 60. If you think those are high, wait and see what they do once Americans receive their $1000 or $1200 or $1500 or whatever size welfare checks.

If he makes it to the 80’s or 90’s where most presidents end up in a crisis if it’s going well then we can talk. But as it stands now if people still lose their jobs and blow the stimulus in 3 weeks and are hurting again and get the virus and miss work because the social distancing has been reduced or dropped entirely the whole exercise will probably blow up in his face. Getting them April 1 is very different than November 1...

As the number of deaths increase, his poll numbers will drop.

It already looks like they bounced up and then down again. These are terrible numbers in a crisis.

he will never ever get to 80 or 90. There are 32% who can't think for themselves, so he can only max out at 68%

Actually that’s not true... even W went to 90% after 9/11 despite Democrats wanting his head on a pike they set that aside to unite as a country. Trump simply hasn’t done that great of a job here.

The more I think about it the statement he made about what a nice story that would be to have everybody in church Easter Sunday. I don't know about anybody here but even if they gave us the "all clear" , the last place I want to be is in a place packed with people at this point. That is a pipe dream.

Exactly. It’s gonna take months to get people into crowds (churches, sports events, concerts, transportation, restaurants, hotels).

Trump's criticism of GM today was classless and idiotic.

Trump has NO FUCKING CLUE what it takes to retool a large industrial plant.

What a fucking idiot!!!

A guy who has racked up $133M in golf trip expenses thinks GM is hosing the taxpayer over ventilator costs...
