Let the 40 year olds that can't run a 6 minute mile and deadlift twice their body weight stay at home. I'll work the doubles.

My stepdaughter is a nurse at Royal Oak Beaumont. She says they have several 30 something's in ICU with COVID-19. In their mind younger age people no longer have a "free pass".

It hospitalizes 20-45 year olds at the same rate as 45+. They may not die but that isn’t the point. It still taxes the health care system beyond what it can handle.

On the general topic of curfews - it seems to me that they would be counter-productive insofar as you're condensing the 24-hour day into a shorter period of time, thus putting more people into public spaces when they CAN go out. In other words, say 100 people in public spread out over a 24 hour day as opposed to the same 100 people in public spread out over an 18-hour day means higher density during those 18 hours.

Same with Wal Mart reducing its hours. Same number of people will go grocery shopping, just condensed into a shorter time period.

I think all those kids that went down to spring break should be put on cruise ships and sent out into the Gulf of Mexico for 3-4 weeks... or a week after the last one of them recovers from their sickness, before they are allowed to return to shore.
