As I said on the other Pelosi thread here - I was extremely disappointed to see Pelosi stoop to Trump’s level. She allowed her noble impulse to reject Trump’s script of lies - featuring the use of human props - to motivate her uncharacteristic public protest - complete with her very own prop. A moment of hit-back that finally felt like relief - only to make her look as immature and impulsive as DumbAss Donald.

She should not have taken the bait.

She did however provide vicarious delight for Americans watching on television - who loved those scripted lies being shredded on their behalf! The protest also acknowledged viewer’s pity for innocent black Americans selectively used as human props to send a visual lie that Trump likes them. After all - he needs them to vote for him. And the SOTU speech was nothing but stump speech shellac.
