RT "forgot" to post the recent CNN poll that shows 50-46 in favor of Biden with RV: https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/16/politics ... index.html
This poll is likely a Trump lead and no worse than a toss up.

Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.
Re: 2020 Presidential Polls
I hadn’t gotten that far if you check the dates. I’m back to using RCP only. They put that one under the 17th. So it was coming up tonight. I’ll post Trump ahead 99-1 as well if it were to happen. You’ll find no dishonesty or omissions here. It’s at best a dead even tie not a lead. Stick with the margin of error if you don’t mind.Matt wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 9:08 amRT "forgot" to post the recent CNN poll that shows 50-46 in favor of Biden with RV: https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/16/politics ... index.html

Homework assignment
I sometimes tell folks here on Buzzboard to get away from the screen, out of the house, and ask real people how they feel about this and that. Not just what you see on TV or social media.
Well, I did just that today. I wandered around a parking lot near Westland Mall earlier today. People were going in and out a T-Mobile, a FedEx and a Mexican restaurant. I asked people two questions:
First I asked "Have you decided who you are going to vote for president?
If the answer was no, I simply said "Thank you" and moved on.
If the answer was yes, I asked 100 people who they decided on.
71 out of 100 said Trump. I stopped at 100.
It was kind of interesting.
Most of the folks that said Trump simply said "Trump" and kept moving.
Most of the folks that said Biden got rather animated, chomping at the bit to start dogging Donald or praising Joe.
I did my best to cut them off when they tried to expound on why. I simply wanted a name.
So I got to thinking. Why not everyone try this? Go ask a bunch of people you don't know "Biden or Trump?".
Don't ask friends and family. They are more likely to be a skewed response since they may share the same leanings as you do. Anyway, there you have it. A homework assignment for everyone.

I'll take shit that didn't happen for $500, Alex...
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

If it really did happen(which I highly doubt), you got rich people mainly and those who aren't afraid of COVID, which is a lot of Republicans.Rate This wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 1:13 amWhat was the demographic breakdown?Mike Oxlong wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 9:43 pmI sometimes tell folks here on Buzzboard to get away from the screen, out of the house, and ask real people how they feel about this and that. Oh I wholeheartedly agree that if I had done this at the Lodge and Clairmount, or on the campus of UofM, it would of went the other way. That's why I'm saying everyone try it.MotorCityRadioFreak wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 1:30 amIf it really did happen(which I highly doubt), you got rich people mainly and those who aren't afraid of COVID, which is a lot of Republicans.

Basically you went to a place where the general population (poor to lower middle class whites) is in Trumps wheel-house.Mike Oxlong wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 7:09 amOh I wholeheartedly agree that if I had done this at the Lodge and Clairmount, or on the campus of UofM, it would of went the other way.
