2020 Presidential Polls

Post by Rate This » Sat Jan 11, 2020 1:32 pm

We had one of these in 2016 and then things turned in the last week or so and the polls never got caught up to the shift to Trump. Let’s see how we do this time. So far (I’m starting from January 1) results have been mixed depending very much on who Trump faces.

Warren 54 Trump 46
Buttigieg 55 Trump 45

January 8

Trump 47 Sanders 46
Trump 47 Warren 45
Trump 47 Buttigieg 44

Iowa

Trump 49 Sanders 44
Trump 49 Warren 44
Trump 48 Buttigieg 47

January 9

Trump 52 Sanders 42
Trump 54 Warren 40
Trump 52 Buttigieg 43

WDIV/Detroit News:
Michigan

Sanders 49 Trump 45
Warren 46 Trump 44
Buttigieg 45 Trump 43
Bloomberg 47 Trump 41

January 10

Welcome back from sabbatical NS!

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

Thanks. I needed a break from the negativity with a divorce and some other things going on but I missed you guys. I’m probably not gonna do much arguing, just numbers. I’ll let you guys fight it out.

I bought a house in October. Haven’t used it yet. Great heat from
a brand new furnace though.

I knew you'd be back, eventually. One of the few "sane" liberals who posts in here (though I suspect you're a closet conservative :blink )

I believe this election will be won or lost in the Rust Belt. PA, MI, OH, and WI.

Florida and North Carolina are also important, though I suspect that if Trump loses either of these states he probably already lost the Rust Belt anyways.

Thanks. Yeah no A/C on the car but I think it’s just a charge that it needs. The big hang up I had was a short in the flex between the door and car that caused the drivers window to not move... that was a hot and awful period because of course it happened in the summer.

I’m a conservative Democrat or a left-libertarian depending on the day. I guess that would be left-center? For whatever value there is in it I can’t stand progressives. They don’t understand how to get anything done without scaring everybody first.

Agreed. If he loses Florida especially then he’s gonna get clobbered overall. Florida is another bell-weather apparently.

Trump in 2020. America adores Trump.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.
